About

Conway Hall has stood on Red Lion Square in Holborn since its Grade II listed building opened in 1929, though the Conway Hall Ethical Society behind it traces its roots to 1787. Styling itself the "Home of Ethics," it runs as an independent charity that takes no government funding.

Its main hall and smaller spaces carry a broad programme of lectures, talks, concerts and community events, and its film strand runs to documentary and experimental cinema seasons as well as festivals. A library and archive devoted to the society's ethical and humanist heritage complete the building.
