MayDay Rooms

MayDay Rooms is an organisation on Fleet Street that describes itself as "an archive, resource and safe haven for social movements, experimental and marginal cultures and their histories". Its collections span radical movements from the 1930s to the present, and it offers free organising and event space to unfunded activist groups and self-organised education.

Alongside book launches, reading groups and historical events, and drawing on film and photo collections from groups such as the Film & Photo League, MayDay Rooms occasionally hosts film screenings and cinema events.
