About

The Man of Kent is a 1930s pub facing the green at Nunhead, one of many rebuilt between the wars by London brewer Truman's — the brewery's eagle still sits on the loosely Neo-Georgian faience front, with coloured glazing in the windows. Inside there is a real fire, a handful of handpumps and picnic tables out on the paving.

It is a locals' pub first, but it hosts the occasional film night and film quiz too.
