Newington Green Meeting House is a 1708 heritage building and community space on Newington Green with a long history of radical and dissenting thought — Mary Wollstonecraft, Richard Price, and Daniel Defoe are among the figures connected to the site. Today it operates as a non-theist, socially progressive congregation and community hub, extending what it describes as a radically inclusive welcome to the local area.

Film screenings take place as part of the venue's Arts on the Green programme, with a programme weighted toward art-house, European, and world cinema. Past titles have included films by Zvyagintsev, Kiarostami, and François Ozon, and occasional screenings have featured director Q&As.
