The Showroom

The Showroom is a contemporary art gallery on Penfold Street in Marylebone. For over 40 years it has, in its own words, been "a pioneer of socially-engaged contemporary art practice", working with emerging and underrepresented artists on commissions and experimental projects that challenge what art can be and do.

Alongside its exhibitions, the gallery runs a programme of talks, readings, workshops and public performances, and occasionally hosts film screenings and cinema events.
