The Black Eel

The Black Eel is a bar and entertainment venue on Kingsland High Street in Dalston, housed in a Grade II-listed building that was formerly Cooke's Pie & Mash Shop. It describes itself as "a vibrant, multi-layered cultural and social destination", built for people who want "more space, more atmosphere, and more ways to enjoy it".

Alongside its main bar, the venue offers games areas with darts and shuffleboard, a karaoke room, lounge spaces and a large beer garden with a pétanque court. It occasionally hosts film screenings and cinema events.
