About
EartH (Evolutionary Arts Hackney) occupies the former Savoy Cinema on Stoke Newington Road in Dalston, an Art Deco building of 1936 that later ran as the ABC before closing as a cinema in 1984. A major redevelopment brought it back to life as EartH in 2018.
Several spaces now share the one roof, from a tiered, seated Art Deco theatre to a larger multi-purpose events hall, with a kitchen and bar alongside. Between the live music and performance, film screenings bring cinema back to the old building.
