About

Doc'n Roll is the UK's music documentary film festival, dedicated to celebrating the stories behind music subcultures, underground scenes, and the artists that mainstream cinema tends to overlook. Founded in 2013 and dubbed "the Glastonbury of music movie fests" by Time Out, it champions bold, independent documentary filmmaking alongside the sounds that shaped it.

The London run spans venues including the Barbican, ICA, the Rio, the Ritzy, and Hackney and Finsbury Park Picturehouses — bringing together world premieres, rare archive screenings, and filmmaker Q&As for a week that's as much gig as it is film festival.
