Wheatsheaf Community Hall

Wheatsheaf Community Hall sits off South Lambeth Road in Vauxhall, a Grade II listed building that local people leased from the council in 1988 and have run by volunteers ever since. It bills itself as "south London's premier live music and event destination" and as the community heart of Vauxhall, with a management committee drawn from the neighbouring estates and the groups who use it.

There are three hireable spaces — a main hall, a small hall and a meeting room — in near-constant demand by "orchestras, choirs, dramatic societies, schools, for exhibitions, exercise classes, fencing, filming, you name it". Promoters take the hall for gigs, club nights and film screenings.
