The Chiswick Cinema

The Chiswick Cinema is a five-screen independent cinema that opened in 2021, bringing cinema back to Chiswick High Road for the first time in almost 90 years. The venue programmes a broad mix of Hollywood releases, arthouse titles, and filmed performances from opera, theatre, and ballet, alongside curated seasons and strands including Andrea's Film Club, Knitflicks, Books on Film, and themed programming like Hitchcock for Halloween and Noirvember. The cinema is known for hosting Q&As with filmmakers and actors, creating opportunities for audiences to engage more deeply with the films they're watching.

Beyond the screens, The Chiswick Cinema offers two publicly accessible bars with an all-day café serving handcrafted drinks and indulgent snacks, plus a lounge and terrace for pre- or post-film gatherings. The venue hosts dog-friendly screenings, parent and baby showings, subtitled performances, and a range of social clubs including book clubs, knitting groups, and jazz nights. With a 16-seater private screening room available for hire, comfortable seating, and a membership programme offering perks and discounts, it's become a cultural anchor for the local community and a destination for film lovers across West London.
