Hillside Gardens Park

Hillside Gardens Park sits off Hillside Road in Streatham Hill, and together with the neighbouring Palace Road Nature Garden makes up the only public green space serving the roughly 10,000 residents of Streatham Hill East. Sports courts, children's play areas, dog-free lawns, a nature garden and a growing set of allotments share the site.

It is cared for by the Friends of Hillside Gardens and Palace Road Nature Garden, a volunteer-run charity working in partnership with Lambeth Council whose aim is "to protect and improve, promote and enjoy both the park and the nature garden". Their calendar takes in the summer fete, sports days and Hallowe'en, with the occasional outdoor film screening joining the mix.
