Fortune Green

Fortune Green is the patch of public open space that gives its name to the surrounding corner of West Hampstead, on Fortune Green Road just north of the town centre. The Friends of Fortune Green look after it alongside Camden's parks team, working to "preserve, protect, and improve Fortune Green, and the adjacent streetscape for the local residents, local businesses and visitors".

Their programme of events runs from planting sessions to a free open-air film screening on the green each summer, a family-friendly evening that neighbours come out to with picnics and warm coats.
