The Wine Dark Short Film Festival calls itself “an international celebration of disability, neurodiversity and mental health” — the first festival of its kind in London. Founded by three Mediterranean filmmakers and actors and run by Wine Dark Productions, it programmes narrative and documentary shorts made by D/deaf, disabled and neurodivergent teams, or exploring mental health, disability and exclusion.
Films from UK-based and international filmmakers screen in themed strands across a single day, alongside a neurodivergent-friendly networking session and a panel Q&A with people working in the industry.
